■ Procedure after Work

1) Fit the Core in the Telephone Cord (2 contact type only).
CAUTION:
• Wind the Telephone Cord around the Core twice and fix the Core so it is away from
the modular connector by 25mm.
• Plug in the connector shown in the figure to the Fax board.

MEMO:
This procedure is unnecessary for the Telephone Cord (6 contact type).

2) When using the supplied PTT Plug, be sure to connect the Telephone Cord (6 contact
type).
MEMO:
• This step is only for Europe. It describes a plug for France as an example.
• Do not connect the telephone cord (2 contact type) with the PTT plug.
3) Connect the PTT Plug or the Telephone Cord to the Modular Jack on the wall side, and
connect the other side to the Modular Jack for host machine line.
