This machine can be converted to operate on a
power supply circuit that has a verified ground
and meets the requirements listed below. (Refer
to Voltage Conversion instructions for details.)

Serious injury could occur if you connect
the machine to power before completing the
setup process. DO NOT connect to power
until instructed later in this manual.

Connection Device
The power cord and plug specified under "Circuit
Requirements for 220V" on the previous page
has an equipment-grounding wire and a ground-
ing prong. The plug must only be inserted into
a matching receptacle (outlet) that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances (see figure below).

Connection Device
For 220V operation: The power cord and plug
specified under "Circuit Requirements for 220V"
on the previous page have an equipment-ground-
ing wire and a grounding prong. The plug must
only be inserted into a matching receptacle
(outlet) that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances
(see figure below).

For 440V operation: As specified in "Circuit
Requirements for 440V" on the previous page, the
machine must be hardwired to the power source,
using a locking switch as a disconnecting means
(see below). The machine must also be connect-
ed to a grounded metal permanent wiring system;
or to a system having an equipment-grounding
conductor. Due to the complexity and high voltage
involved, this type of installation MUST be done
by a qualified electrician.
