Message
Your phone can receive voice mail messages, SMS
(Short Message Service) messages, and web
messages from your web server. Your phone can
also send text messages if your system supplier
provides this service.
Incoming messages are received even when your
phone is in Lock mode. To access the message, you
need to unlock the phone.
Note: You can quickly switch to the Mail menu by
pressing the Mail soft key in this menu.
New message
You can create short text messages and send them
to multiple mobile phones.
1. Enter the message contents.
For more information on how to enter
characters, see page 40.
When you press the Mode soft key, you can
select Canned msg. to use one of 20 canned
messages or Domains to quickly enter a
domain name extension. For details about
canned messages and domain extensions, see
page 125 and page 179 respectively.
2. Press the OK soft key.
3. If necessary, press the Down key to set up the
following options:
• Priority: allows you to set the priority level of
the message from Normal, Interactive,
Urgent, or Emergency.
