4.2 Charging methods

(1) Connect the device to the PC by the USB cable, as shown

in the left figure below.

(2) Use a special charger to charge, as shown in the right

figure below.

When using the above methods to recharge, the device

enters the charging state. The battery indicator shows a

battery icon changing from empty to full repeatedly, indicating

that the device is recharging Under normal circumstance, the

device can be fully recharged in around 3 hours.

Notice

• While the device is connected to a computer, it cannot

be operated manually.

（1）Push up the Turn ON button to the lock position,

and lock all the buttons except the "Record" button. The

"Lock Icon" is displayed briefly on the screen and then

disappears, as shown below.

（2）Slide the Turn ON button down to the middle position

for cancelling the locking.

Whether TF card is inserted or not, the device can be used

as a USB mass storage device to conveniently store, back up

and move files. Connect the device to the PC by the USB

cable, without installing any software, and the recording pen

is automatically displayed as a portable device. The "Connect

to Computer" icon is as shown below.
