[FRAME DELAY]

Set the additional delay time against the frame delay status by the [FRAME RESPONSE] setting.

Press as to select [FRAME DELAY].

Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [FRAME DELAY] screen is displayed.

Press qw to switch the item.
f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[+0.00ms] - [+100.00ms]
f The delay time (approximate) from the point the video signal is input until the image is projected is
displayed in [ACTUAL DELAY] of the [FRAME DELAY] screen.
Note
f When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [MULTI PROJECTOR SYNC] → [MODE] is set to [SLAVE], [FRAME DELAY] cannot be set. In
such case, the projector will operate according to the [FRAME DELAY] setting of the projector where the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu →
[MULTI PROJECTOR SYNC] → [MODE] is set to [MASTER].

[FRAME CREATION]

Set the amount of image frame interpolation.
The image with fast movement can be displayed more smoothly by automatically generating the intermediate
frame from the previous and next frame.

Press as to select [FRAME CREATION].

Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [FRAME CREATION] screen is displayed.

Press as to select [FRAME CREATION MODE].

Press qw to switch the item.

Note
f The effect may not be easily visible depending on the image.
f Switch the setting when the image looks unnatural due to delay of image or generation of noise.
f [FRAME CREATION] is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.
g When [FRAME RESPONSE] is set to [FAST]
g When the [DISPLAY OPTION] menu → [SIMUL INPUT SETTING] is set to [AUTO(3D)] or [AUTO(2D)] and displaying an image in
simultaneous format
g When the internal test patter is displayed.
f The [FRAME CREATION] setting is disabled and fixed to [OFF] when [FRAME CREATION] is set to anything other than [OFF] and the
following setting or operation is performed.
Chapter 4 Settings — [ADVANCED MENU] menu
Standard setting.
Simplifies the image processing to reduce image frame delay.
Sets image frame delay to be constant regardless of the image position or magnification.
Sets the delay in 0.01 ms increments.
Disables the frame creation function.
Sets the amount of interpolation weaker.
Sets the amount of interpolation midway.
Sets the amount of interpolation stronger.
