BKDS-7017 Switcher Control Panel (Rear)

5 OPTION PANEL connector
1 SWITCHER connector (D-sub 9-pin,
RS-422A compliant)
Used to connect to the DVS-7150 Digital Video
Switcher. The switcher is controlled through this
connector.
2 DME (Digital Multi Effects) connector
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-422A compliant)
Used to connect devices such as the DME-7000
Digital Multi Effects. The unit is controlled through
this connector.
3 TERMINAL 1 and 2 connectors
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-232C compliant)
These connectors can be attached to control terminals
etc., according to the need for maintenance, or future
system expansion.
4 ⁄AC IN (AC power input) A and B connectors
(3-pin)
Connect to a 100 to 240 V AC power source with an
optional AC power cord. As shipped, the A connector
supplies power to the built-in power supply unit. If the
optional BKDS-7091 unit is installed, both the A and
B connectors can be used.
For more information on installing the BKDS-7091, contact
your Sony representative or qualified Sony service
personnel.

5 OPTION PANEL connector (D-sub 25-pin, RS-
422A compliant)
Use the optional BKDS-7075 Control Panel Remote
Adaptor to connect option panels to the control panel.
6 REMOTE 1 to 4 connectors (D-sub 9-pin, RS-
422A compliant)
Used as necessary to connect external equipment, such
as to control three or more channels of DME-7000
Digital Multi Effect units. A BKDS-7001 Expansion
Board is necessary to use the REMOTE 1 to 4
connectors.
7 y (signal ground) terminal
This is a signal ground terminal. Connect to the system
ground as required.
