The fuel cap is located on
the driver's side of the
vehicle.
Some vehicles may be
equipped with a fuel door.
Open the door to access
the fuel cap.
Some vehicles may be equipped with a locking fuel cap.
Use the fuel cap key to unlock the fuel cap. If you
ever need a replacement key, your dealer can help you
get one.
CAUTION:
{
If a fire starts while you are refueling, do not
remove the nozzle. Shut off the flow of fuel by
shutting off the pump or by notifying the
station attendant. Leave the area immediately.
Turn the fuel cap slowly to
the left (counterclockwise)
to remove it. While
refueling, let the fuel cap
hang by the tether, if it
has one.
