Ignition Positions

OFF: The only position from which you can remove the
key. Removing the key locks your ignition and
automatic transaxle.
The ignition switch is
located on the instrument
panel, to the right of the
steering column. With the
key in the ignition switch,
you can turn the switch to
four positions.
NOTICE:
If your key seems stuck in OFF and you can't
turn it, be sure you are using the correct key; if
so, is it all the way in? If it is, then turn the
steering wheel left and right while you turn the
key hard. But turn the key only with your hand.
Using a tool to force it could break the key or the
ignition switch. If none of this works, then your
vehicle needs service.
ACC (ACCESSORY): This is an operation in which
you can operate your electrical power accessories. With
the key in this position, the ignition and automatic
transaxle will unlock.
