About Your Kohler Toilet Seat
Your heated toilet seat will provide you with soothing warmth and comfort within
minutes after being plugged in.

This heated toilet seat is designed for continuous operation, and should
be
unplugged after each use. You may choose to unplug the seat off when the weather is
warm. The seat needs several minutes to warm up after being plugged in, and is
designed to provide uniform heat over the entire seat contact surface.The surface
temperature of the seat will be between 20_F (11_C) and 30_F (17_C) above the
surrounding room temperature.
This toilet seat contains two safety mechanisms to protect you from excessively high
temperatures. A thermostat maintains the toilet seat surface temperature at a
comfortable level. A Thermal Cut Off (TCO) is included to guard against thermostat
failure. If the thermostat fails, and the seat temperature continues to rise, the TCO will
permanently open, deactivating the heating function of the seat. The seat will no longer
function as a heated toilet seat once the TCO has opened.
Electrical service requirements: 120 V, 15 A, 60 Hz (circuit protected by a Class A GFCI).
The power requirement for this heated toilet seat is 13 W at 120 V. The seat has a 4'
(121.9cm) electrical cord. Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
