Description
Allows you to specify the order in which the computer
attempts to find an operating system from the devices
specified in this list.
● Legacy
● UEFI (selected by default)
Allows you to select the Enable Legacy Option ROMs option,
when in UEFI boot mode. By default, this option is selected.
Allows you to set the date and time settings. Changes to the
system date and time take effect immediately.
Description
Allows you to control the on-board LAN controller. The option
'Enable UEFI Network Stack' is not selected by default. The
options are:
● Disabled
● Enabled
● Enabled w/PXE (default)
NOTE:
Depending on the computer and its installed
devices, the items listed in this section may or may not
appear.
Allows you to configure the operating mode of the integrated
hard drive controller.
● Disabled = The SATA controllers are hidden
● RAID ON = SATA is configured to support RAID mode
(selected by default)
● AHCI= SATA is configured for AHCI mode
Allows you to determine how the built-in serial port to
operate. The options are:
● Disabled
● COM 1 – Default setting
● COM 2
● COM 3
● COM 4
Allows you to enable or disable the various drives on-board:
● SATA-0
● SATA-1
● SATA-2
● SATA-3
● SATA-4
This field controls whether hard drive errors for integrated
drives are reported during system startup. The Enable Smart
Reporting option is disabled by default.
Allows you to enable or disable the integrated USB controller
for:
● Enable Boot Support
● Enable Front USB Ports
● Enable Rear USB Ports
All the options are enabled by default.
