After confirming the physical conditons of the Lamp Door check the
electrical and physical conditions on the Lamp Door Switch. Reference
Figure 3-3 for the test point (connector) for the T1-Board. The test point
is a 2-pin black connector. Both wires on the connector will be 0V when
the Lamp Door switch is properly closed. The switch places a ground on
the line to the DE microprocessor. If one wire measures 5V the switch is
open and may need replacing. Check physical wiring and switch before
replacing the T1-Board.
If the door is found undamaged, securely closed, and the Lamp
Door Switch checks OK, then there must be a problem with the DE
microprocessor IC8505 on the A1-board. Replace the A1-Board.

Fan Error (4X)

4X Flash
Pattern
(Fan Rotation)
(Reference Figure 5-6) The main objective when this error occurs is
to determine which of the three fans have stopped rotating. Visually
check the two-rear exhaust fans (#1 & #2, Reference Figure 3-11 for
fan locations) fans first for rotation. Both fans should begin rotating
immediately after the TV power button is pressed.
