Adjustment of equal stitch length for the forward/reverse-controlled utility stitches -
Stretch stitch balance (MODEL1142 and 1132)
Requirements
The forward feeding (A) and backward feeding (B) should be equal when sewing stretch stitch pattern.
Check
When a stretch stitch is sewn the forward feeding (A) and backward feeding (B) should be equal when sewing
stretch stitch pattern.
Adjustment
• Select the triple lock straight stitch .
• Put a piece of paper under the presser foot, and turn the hand wheel to check the needle drop position in forward
(A) and backward feeding (B).
• Remove the cap (F).
• If (A) > (B), then turn the adjusting screw (G) in direction (C).
If (A) < (B), then turn the adjusting screw (G) in direction (D).
• Attach the cap (F).
