8. Periodic maintenance work

The LATENTO 500 is very easy to maintain. The only periodic work would be
checking the water level and the system pressures.
Half-yearly
Check the water level in the LATENTO 500. The float must be between "Min"
and "Max". Ideal ist the middle position "OPT". When required, refill the sto-
rage tank, as on page 23 described.
Check the system pressure of the solar, boiler and heating system – correct
pressure appropriately, whenever required.

9. Drainage and dismantling

Caution Risk of scalding. Before dismantling, please see that the
LATENTO 500 is off power and the storage water is cold.
Drain all pipelines.
Loosen all pipework.
Drain the LATENTO 500 via the lower connection nozzle as described in chap-
ter 5.8.
Take back or disposal
In case your buffer storage tank LATENTO 500 should be disposed of, we kindly
ask
you to give the solar stratified storage tank LATENTO 500 to a suitable recycling
facility. In addition, we offer you to take back the LATENTO 500 for recycling if it
is delivered free of charge to our address.
