Decoding and combining functions
You can decode the audio signals (four channels in
each signal) in an SDI signal input to one of the
primary input connectors into AES/EBU digital audio
format, and can supply up to three sets of signals to the
audio mixer. You can also combine up to four output
channels from the audio mixer into an SDI video
signal for output from the program audio output
connectors.
Dedicated audio input/output connectors
The unit is equipped with four AES/EBU digital audio
input connectors (each for two channels). The output
connectors comprise program audio output connectors
for four channels (channels 1/2 and 3/4), and audio
monitor output connectors for two analog audio
channels (L/R channels).
Networking with an A/V server system
The DNE-2000 system can be connected by ethernet to
an A/V server system, allowing searching and capture
of material, and EDL (Edit Decision List) exchange,
event transfer to a broadcasting system, and other
control functions.
Further, with a number of DNE-2000 systems
connected in a network, material can be shared, and
similar programs can be edited simultaneously.
Connect the time code to be used as the basis for all of
the editing operations to the REF TC IN connector on
the DNE-1000.
Wide range of systems supported
• Switchable between 525- and 625-line formats, and
between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio.
• External control connectors complying with RS-422A
(four connectors fitted as standard; ten with the
optional BKNE-1030).

Overview of Options

BKNE-1010 Editing Control Panel
This control panel provides a search dial and function
keys for controlling editing operations in the DNE-
2000 Digital News Editing System.
BKNE-1011 Editing Fader Panel
This panel allows you to control the video/audio
levels, effects, and so forth in the DNE-2000 Digital
News Editing System, using the function knobs,
faders, and a transition lever.
BKNE-1020 Audio Processor Board
This board applies equalizing and other effects to
audio signals.
BKNE-1030 Extended Input and Keyer
Board
This extended input board provides an extra four SDI
inputs, each providing for one video channel and four
audio channels, and six external control connectors
complying with RS-422A. It also has a simple
superimposing keyer function.
BKNE-1031 Frame Memory Board
This board provides freeze, mask, and repositioning
functions for two images in frame memory, and also a
dual picture function (allowing simultaneous
confirmation of two pictures) during editing.
BKNE-1040 Video Effects Board
This board adds a variety of video effects.
BKNE-1041 3D/Lighting/Trail Effects
Board
This board adds video effects, three-dimensional
effects, lighting effects, and trail (afterimage) effects.
BZNE-2020 Operating Program
This software is used to carry out editing operations
from a computer in the DNE-2000 Digital News
Editing System.
