PRE-OPERATION CHECK

Fuel recommendation [F2]
1.
Check the fuel level gauge.
2.
Refill the tank if the fuel level is low. Do not fill
above the shoulder of the fuel strainer.
We recommend unleaded gasoline because it
produces fewer deposits and extends exhaust system
life. Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or oil/
gasoline mixture.
Avoid putting dirt or water in the fuel tank (17).
NOTICE: running the engine (4) with persistent
spark knock or pinging can cause engine damage.
If "spark knock" or "pinging" persists, go to an
authorized IVT dealer.
Engine oil [F3]
WARNING! Engine (4) is shipped from
factory without oil. Add engine oil
before starting the engine (4).
NOTICE: engine oil is a major factor affecting
engine performance and service life. Non-detergent
and 2-stroke engine oils will damage the engine (4)
and are not recommended.
1.
Check the oil level before each use with the tiller on
a level surface with the engine (4) stopped.
2.
Remove the oil filler cap (16) and wipe the dipstick
clean.
3.
Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the
filler neck without screwing it in.
4.
If the level is low, fill to the top of the oil filler neck
with the recommended oil.
Air filter (19)
Check air filter box forr dirt or obstructions of elements.

pin.

power from the engine (4) to the transmission.
When the clutch lever (1) is squeezed, the clutch is
engaged and power is transmitted. Squeeze the clutch
lever (1), the shaft will be rotated.
When the clutch lever (1) is released, the clutch is
disengaged and power is not transmitted. Release the
