Before You Start

SAFEGUARDS

Be sure to connect the color-coded leads
according to the diagram. Incorrect
connections may cause the unit to

malfunction or damage the vehicle s
electrical system.

Be sure to connect the speaker (-) leads
to the speaker (-) terminal. Never connect
the left and right channel speaker cables
to each other or to the vehicle body.

Make sure all the connections are completely
correct before turning on your unit.

When replacing the fuse(s), the replacement
must be of the same amperage as shown
on the fuse holder.
5
Do not block vents or radiator panels as
that would cause heat to build up inside
the unit could result in fire.

Make sure the fuse is not blown, replace with
the proper value if necessary.
Press the RESET button.
Make sure the antenna is inserted and properly
connected.
Make sure that the antenna is
1)fully extended
2)unbroken
3)properly grounded at its mounting location.
Make sure a disc is not already loaded.
Make sure the disc is not dirty or damaged.
Make sure the video line from the unit to the TV
is connected properly.
Make sure the color system is set to PAL or NTSC,
depending on your location or television.
