if you hear 5 siren chirps while driving

If you forget to enter your code, the system will remind you 20-seconds
after you begin driving by "chirping" the siren 5 times and flashing the
LED. At this point, you have another 20-seconds to enter your code.
When entered, the LED will stop flashing and the siren will chirp once
to confirm proper code entry. If the proper code is not entered within
20-seconds after the 5-chirp signal, the engine will shut down if the
engine or the vehicles speed drops below a preset level. You may enter
your disarming code even after the engine is shut down. Once the
proper disarming code is entered, you will be able to resume driving.

setting valet/disarming PIN code

Since all BlackJax 5 systems use the same factory-set code of 2, we
strongly recommend that you program your own unique code as soon
as possible. Your secret valet/disarming PIN code will be used to deac-
tivate BlackJax, enter valet mode and enter programming mode. You
may choose any 1-4-digit PIN code, but the first digit must not be a
zero (e.g., 1023 is a valid code, 0123 is not). See User-selectable fea-
tures. Let's say you want to set a PIN code of 4301:
1. Enter program mode by turning on the ignition, entering your cur-
rent code, then pressing and holding the
button of the PlainView
2 switch for 3-seconds until you hear a chirp.
2. Press the
button once, then pause. After pausing, you will hear
a confirmation chirp.
