SPEAKER IMP. Changes the speaker impedance setting.
REMOTE SENSOR Turns on/off of the remote control sensor on the main unit.
REMOTE ID Selects the unit's remote control ID.
TV FORMAT Switches the video signal type.
MONITOR CHECK Removes the limitation on HDMI video output.
4K MODE Selects the HDMI 4K (60 Hz/50 Hz) signal format.
DTS MODE Switches the DTS format notification setting.
Creates backup of the settings of the unit, or recovers the settings from
BACKUP/RESTORE
the backup.
INITIALIZE Restores the default settings.
FIRM. UPDATE Updates the firmware.
VERSION Checks the version of firmware currently installed on the unit.

Changing the speaker impedance setting (SPEAKER IMP.)

Change the unit's speaker impedance settings depending on the impedance of the speakers
connected.
Settings
Select this option when you connect 6-ohm speakers to the unit. You can also use
6 Ω MIN
4-ohm speakers as the front speakers.
8 Ω MIN Select this option when you connect 8-ohm or higher speakers to the unit.

Turning on/off the remote control sensor
(REMOTE SENSOR)
REMOTE SENSOR
Turn on/off the remote control sensor on the main unit. While the remote control sensor is
turned off, you cannot control the unit from the remote control.
Settings
ON Turns on the remote control sensor.
OFF Turns off the remote control sensor.

Selecting the remote control ID (REMOTE ID)

REMOTE ID
Change the unit's remote control ID so that it matches the remote control's ID (default: ID1).
When using multiple Yamaha AV receivers, you can set each remote control with a unique
remote control ID for its corresponding receiver.

To select ID1, hold down the cursor key (e) and SCENE1 together for 5 seconds.
To select ID2, hold down the cursor key (e) and SCENE2 together for 5 seconds.

If the remote control ID does not match that of the unit, "RemID Mismatch" appears on the unit's front
display when the remote control is operated.
