Never push objects of any kind into the set through the cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock.
  • Page 5 An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or power circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits, as contact with them may be fatal. Always turn the set off when it is not being used.

  • Page 8 Before attaching/detaching the stand, be sure to turn the TV off. Before performing any work, spread cushioning out over the base area to lay the TV on. This will prevent it from being damaged. Assemble the connection bracket, glass stand section and metallic gasket together as shown below, then fasten with 4 self-tapping screws.
  • Page 9 The buttons on the lower-right panel control your TVs basic features, including the on-screen menu. To use the televisions more advanced features, you must use the remote control.
  • Page 12 Before turning off the main power, or turning off the power supply, you must switch the television into standby mode by pressing the POWER button on the remote control or on the television set itself. Once the television is in standby mode, you may turn off the mains power supply.
  • Page 13 Notes: One load of batteries should last for 1 year under normal use. • If you do not intend to use the remote control for an extended period of • time, remove the batteries to avoid damage due to leakage. Do not mix old and new batteries together.

  • Page 15 The rear panel jacks on your TV makes it easy to connect a camcorder to your TV. They allow you to view the recordings without using a VCR player. Each camcorder has a different back panel configuration, so when connecting a camcorder, match the colour of the connection terminal to the cable.
  • Page 16 This connection can only be made if there is a HDMI output connector on the external device. HDMI, or high-definition multimedia interface, is a next-generation interface that enables the transmission of digital audio and video signals using a single cable without compression.
  • Page 17 The rear panel jacks on the TV make it easy to connect a Digital Audio System to your TV. 5.1 CH audio is possible when the TV is connected to an external device that supports 5.1 CH sound. Connect a coaxial cable between the SPDIF jacks on the TV and the Digital Audio Input jacks on the Digital Audio System.

Connect a D-Sub Cable between the VGA/PC IN connector on the TV and the PC output connector on your computer. 2. Connect a PC Audio Cable between the PC AUDIO IN jack on the TV and the Audio Out jack on the soundcard on your computer.

  • Page 27 There are two methods to select the input source. Press INPUT key on the remote control to enter "INPUT SOURCE" menu. In "On Time”, press the OK button to enter the submenu. Set the time for the TV set to turn on when the TV set is in standby mode.

Any existing data on the disk will be lost during the formatting process. Please back up your disk if you do not want to lose this data.
