Section 3 - Configuration
This page will allow you to configure the wireless connection
for the DAP-3410. Please be aware that some menu options will
change depending on which type of security setting is used.
Network Name
Enter a name for your wireless network (SSID). For
(SSID):
security purposes, it is highly recommended to
change from the default network name.
SSID Visibility:
Select Disabled if you do not want the SSID of
your wireless network to be broadcasted by the
DAP-3410. Your wireless clients will have to know
the SSID of your DAP-3410 in order to connect
to it.
Auto Channel
The Auto Channel Scan setting can be selected to

allow the DAP-3410 to choose the channel with
the least amount of interference.
Channel:
Indicates the channel setting for the DAP-3410.
The Channel can be changed to fit the channel
setting for an existing wireless network or to
customize the wireless network. If you enable
Auto Channel Scan, this option will be grayed out.
Channel Width:
Auto 20/40 - Select if you are using both 802.11n
and non-802.11n wireless devices. 20MHz - Select
if you are not using any 802.11n wireless clients.
Extension
Used only when Channel.width is set to 40 MHz.
Channel:
Select the desired channel bonding for control.
Authentication:
Refer to "Wireless Security" on page 61 of this
manual for a detailed explanation of the wireless
security options.
