The Drain Pan Assembly consists of:
Drain Pan
Metal Screen
Filter Pad
Retaining Ring
Crumb Catcher
Drain Pan Lid
Drain Pan Assembly
Start with a clean drain pan assembly every morning. Make sure all the parts are dry
to prevent dampening filter pad and break down oil.
Put the metal screen on the bottom of the drain pan.
Put the filter paper (when using Magnesol) or filter pad - smooth side facing down (if
not using Magnesol), on top of the metal screen
Put the retaining ring on top of the filter pad to prevent crumbs from being sucked
through the hole in the bottom of the drain pan and blocking the pump.

  • Page 3 • Check the drain pan o-rings daily for nicks and tears to prevent oil leaking. • To replace o-ring, use o-ring tool (same as for Taylor machine). Push underneath the o-ring. Pull up and off the end of the tube. Roll new o-ring into notch on tube. Have a set of replacement o-rings available to replace every Key Point 3 to 4 months due to wear.
