SAFETY INFORMATION
10. Never carry the heater by the power cord.
11. The cord should be arranged so that it does not touch hot
surfaces, is not draped over a countertop or tabletop where it
may be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
12. Never use the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug,
or if the appliance has malfunctioned in any way. If the power
cord, plug, or appliance is damaged, the appliance must be
returned or replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized
service agent or a similarly qualified person.
13. Removing the power plug is the only way to separate the
appliance completely from the power supply. Make sure the
power plug is accessible.
14. When disconnecting the appliance from the power supply, pull
the power plug instead of the power cord.
15. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Do not plug in
the power cord or operate the appliance with wet hands or
when standing in water.
16. If the appliance falls into water, quickly turn it off at the wall
socket and unplug it immediately. Make sure you are not
standing on wet ground or have wet hands when touching the
wall socket or plug.
17. Keep the appliance and power cord away from hotplates, hobs,
and burners.
18. It is normal for the plug to get warm while the appliance is
being used. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet in one orientation.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, overheating and/or melting of the plug could
occur. If the connection is loose, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
