The headspace sampler is heavy. To avoid injury, use a two–person lift.

Make sure that all samples and trays have been removed prior to moving or relocating the

headspace sampler. Prior to moving, all covers and enclosures must also be seated properly.
Make sure all covers and enclosures are secure.
Make sure your headspace sampler has adequate distance from the wall and other

instruments.
Electrostatic discharge is a threat to headspace
sampler electronics
The printed circuit (PC) boards in the headspace sampler can be damaged by electrostatic
discharge. Do not touch any of the boards unless it is absolutely necessary. If you must handle
them, wear a grounded wrist strap and take other antistatic precautions. Wear a grounded
wrist strap any time you must remove the side cover.
