The IPX menu is used to set up the IPX parameters for the Express 4110/
4120. Any general IPX-related configuration item can be found under this
menu. Figure 3-5 shows the IPX menu.

Write security: 2; Read security: 5
When this option is set to On, the Express 4110/4120 will route IPX. Set-
ting it to Off (def) will disable all IPX functionality.
Write security: 2; Read security: 5
The IPX network address for the Ethernet port is set here. This is an eight-
digit hexadecimal value that uniquely identifies the network segment of
the Ethernet port. Accidental selection of an IPX network which is
already in use on another network segment may cause hard-to-diagnose
problems. IPX network numbers should be carefully tracked.
