Troubleshooting

Procure a wired remote controller (sold separately) and diagnose failure.
Temporally troubleshooting can be done with LED display on signal receiving unit. For
detail troubleshooting determination, connect a wired remote controller and diagnose
with it.
First checking
1. Check the power supply voltage
Make sure that the power supply is within the rated
range. Should a voltage between 380V and 415V
be applied to the system interconnection terminal
block, the controller board of the outdoor unit would
detect an overvoltage fault and shut off the power
supply to the indoor unit. Any failure of the controller
board in the outdoor unit may also cause a similar
symptom.
2. Check for wrong wiring of the system
interconnection wires
Make sure that the indoor and outdoor units are
connected with the system interconnection wires of
the matching terminal numbers. If there is any
mismatch, they won't run.
Any wrong wiring will never result in damage to the
air conditioner. If you find any mismatches in wiring,
turn off the power, rewire the system interconnection
wires correctly and check to see if the air conditioner
operates properly.
Confirmation and check
When an error occurred in the air conditioner, the
check code and the indoor unit No. appear on the
display part of the remote controller.
The check code is only displayed during the operation.
If the display disappears, operate the air conditioner
according to the following "Confirmation of error log" for
confirmation.

Confirmation of error log
When an error occurred on the air conditioner, the error
log can be confirmed with the following procedure.
(The error log is stored in memory up to 4 errors.)
The log can be confirmed from both operating state
and stop state.

1
Procedure
When pushing
and
buttons at the same time for
4 seconds or more, the following display appears.
If [Service check]
is displayed, the mode enters in
the error log mode.
[01 : Order of error log] is displayed in CODE No.
window.
[Check code] is displayed in CHECK window.
[Indoor unit address in which an error occurred] is
displayed in Unit No.
2
Procedure
Every pushing of
button used to set
temperature, the error log stored in memory is
displayed in order.
The numbers in CODE No. indicate CODE No. [01]
(latest) → [04] (oldest).
REQUIREMENT
Do not push
button because all the error log of the
indoor unit will be deleted.
3
Procedure
After confirmation, push
button to return to the
normal display.
