  • Page 2 Congratulations and thank you for chosing the Cardo scala- 700LX Headset. This quick guide will assist you with the use of the Cardo scala-700LX Headset. Before using the scala-700LX we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the ® Bluetooth functionality of your cellular phone.

    BEFORE USING 1. Make sure to charge the Headset for at least four hours before initial use. Normally it takes approximately two hours to fully charge the Headset. 2. Plug the charger into the Headset’s Charging Jack, which is located just below the Wheel.
  • Page 4 1. Turn on your phone and make sure that its Bluetooth function is activated. 2. While the Headset is turned off, press the Wheel inwards for at least 8 seconds. The Status Light will begin rapidly alternating red and blue, indicating that the Headset is in Pairing mode.
  • Page 5 (see Advanced Functions section). ATTACHING THE HEADSET TO YOUR EAR Attach the Headset to your ear using the Ear-Loop. Insert the pin of the Ear-Loop to a suitable depth so that the speaker fits snugly in your ear (hovering above your ear canal).

  • Page 9 Call back the last incoming caller (Callback Function) The scala-700LX allows you to place a call to the phone number of the last incoming call. The Headset will store the phone number of the last answered, missed or rejected call.
  • Page 10 Status Light will begin flashing rapidly. NOTE: Auto-Answer will not answer an incoming call if you are currently on a call (Call Waiting). Turning off the Headset will disable the Auto-Answer function. Auto-answer can be enabled again after turning on the Headset by following the instructions above.

    Whenever a call is missed or rejected, the red and blue Status Lights will begin flashing simultaneously, notifying you of the missed call. To clear this Missed Call Indicator, press any button on the Headset. NOTE: This feature is not supported by some mobile phones.
