OPERATING THE GENERATOR

To avoid electric shock or fire:
A Do not operate or store in wet or damp
conditions.
To avoid personal injury:
A Read "
SAFE OPERATION" in the front of
this manual.
A Read the danger, warning and caution labels
located on the generator.
A To
avoid
the
danger
poisoning, do not operate the engine in a
closed building without proper ventilation.
A Always turn OFF the circuit breaker before
starting the generator.
A Turn OFF all switches on the electrical devices.
A Check the wiring and connections of the
electrical devices before starting the machine.
A DO NOT touch the live parts during operation.

STARTING THE ENGINE

1. Turn OFF all switches on the electrical
devices.
2. Turn OFF the circuit breakers on the
control panel.
(1) Circuit breaker

(A) "OFF"
OPERATING THE GENERATOR
3. Ensure that the fuel lever is set to the
"OPEN" Position.
(1) Fuel lever
(2) Fuel filter pot
4. Insert the key into the main switch and
turn it "ON".
5. Check the battery charge lamp and oil
pressure lamp are on.
(1) Water temperature lamp
(2) Oil pressure lamp
(3) Battery charge lamp
(4) Glow timer lamp
A Do not use ether or any starting fluid for starting the
engine, or severe engine damage will occur.
