Customer Care Center to order the MultiPASS Desktop Manager and Printer Driver on diskettes.) These configurations are required by the MultiPASS Printer Driver, MultiPASS Desktop Manager for Windows, and ScanGear for MultiPASS.

  • Page 7 Connect the other end of the cable to the parallel interface port on your computer. If you plan to use the MultiPASS C5500 without connecting it to your computer, see Appendix B of your User's Manual for instructions on how to program your name and fax number.
  • Page 8 Plug the other end of the power cord into a properly grounded AC outlet (three-pronged outlet). The MultiPASS C5500 has no power switch. The power is on as long as the system is plugged in. The MultiPASS C5500 is equipped with a 3-prong, grounding-type plug (the third pin is a grounding pin).

    The LCD reads: When you plug in the MultiPASS C5500 for the first time the cartridge holder moves to the center of the unit so you can install the BJ cartridge. If the cartridge holder is not in the center, press the on the operator panel.

Make sure the MultiPASS C5500 is highlighted and click Next. You see a Software License Agreement. Be sure to read this agreement. You must confirm the license agreement to continue.
