weak.
BUFFER • This message appears if you hold
EMPTY!
• This message appears if you try to

FULL! enter a character, symbol, return or
space after 99 characters have
already been entered.
CAN'T This message appears if the cursor is
HERE at the end of the text when you hold
down c and press O.
CASSETTE This message appears if the tape cas-
CHANGED! sette is changed while the P-touch is
receiving data from the computer.
CHANGE This message appears if a high-volt-
ADAPTOR! age adaptor is being used.
COOLING This message appears when the print
DOWN head is used extensively (for exam-
ple, when printing multiple copies of
a large amount of text).

ERROR MESSAGE LIST

Cause
down c and press T, but
no text has been entered in the dis-
play.
print or store a text file in the
memory, but no text has been
entered in the display.
Remedy
Limit the number of lines to six.
Replace the batteries or use the
AC adaptor.
• Enter some text before starting
the function.
• Enter text before printing or
storing.
Delete some existing text so that
more text can be entered.
Move the cursor below a
number before holding down
c and pressing O.
Cancel the print job, install the
correct tape cassette, and then
try printing again.
Remove the high-voltage adap-
tor and connect the adaptor
designed exclusively for this
machine.
Wait until printing continues.
