Check that the cables are plugged into
the correct headers on the NCS Output
Board.
2
Check that the external controller is
supplying a slidewire voltage supply.
3
Check the input signal to the NCS
Output Board.

What to Do
How To Do it or Where to Find the Instructions
On the NCS Output Board insure that the
following are connected: (See Figure 4-7.)
J5 – BRN, BRN, YEL;
J7 – ORN, ORN, GRY;
J3 – RED, GRN, WHT:
J6 – RED, YEL, BLU.
J4 – ORN, YEL (If Motor Positioner board is
present.)
Using the Digital Voltmeter measure the voltage
from pin 34 to pin 36 on TB. This voltage should
be in the range of 1.000 Vdc to 20 Vdc. See
Figure 3-11.
Using a DVM measure the voltage between the
pins on W11. The voltage should be in the range
of 0 to 1.25 Vdc. See Figure 4-4.
Refer to Section 4 to check calibration and to
recalibrate. First check Section 4.6 for proper
positioning and calibration of non-contact sensor.
Refer to the replacement procedure in Section 8 –
Replacement/Recommended Spare Parts.
