General description

Barracuda 4FC disc drives are high-speed, random-
access digital-data storage devices designed to be used
within a Fibre Channel host system.
The drive is a component for installation in an enclosure
designed for the drive. The disc drive must receive ade-
quate cooling (refer to "Providing adequate cooling") and it
must be sufficiently grounded and shielded from emis-
sions. The Barracuda 4FC Product Manual (part number
83329080) contains guidelines for a properly designed
enclosure.
