The enclosed tape separator enables you to easily remove the backing from labels printed on laminated tape.
1 Hold the tape in your left hand, with the
printed surface facing up, and hold the stick
in your right hand.
2 Pass the tape halfway through the long
narrow hole in the stick.
3 Turn the stick three-quarters of a turn
towards you, and then pull the stick away
from you as shown in the illustration.
4 Peel off the label backing.

Quitting P-touch Quick Editor

On an IBM PC-compatible computer:
• From the application:
Right-click in the label view (or text box), and then click [Exit] in the menu that appears.
• From the taskbar:
Right-click on the P-touch Quick Editor icon in the system tray, at the right of the taskbar, and
then click [Exit] in the menu that appears.
On a Macintosh computer:
• From the pop-up menu:
While holding down the Control key, click in the label view (or text box), and then click [Quit]
in the menu that appears.
• From the application menu:
Click the [File] menu, and then click the [Quit] command.

Cleaning the print head and roller

A blank horizontal line appearing through the printed label indicates that the print head and roller are
dirty. Clean the print head and roller according to the following procedure.
1 Turn off the PT-1500PC.
2 Open the tape compartment cover.
3 Remove the tape cassette if one is installed.
