PROBLEM
No power to iQue controller
Continuous alternating alarm
or Continuous alternating
alarm with danger triangle
"Alarm Zone 1+2" indicated
and alarm "beeping" x5 or
alarm "beeping" x5 with
danger triangles
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
POSSIBLE CAUSES
• Controller not turned on
• Transformer not plugged in
• Transformer jack plug not
plugged into position completely
• Transformer jack plug not
plugged into position completely
• loose or disconnected two
power wire at back of switch
• loose or disconnected 10 pin
wiring harness
• Loose or disconnected internal
temperature probe
• Temperature differential
between zones is to great
• Transfer of heat between zones
1 & 2
• IQUE controller still turn on but
was not lighting.
• IQUE controller setting
temperature on each zone to
high and BBQ not reached to
temperature setting
SOLUTIONS
• push power button to turn on
• plug 3 prong transformer cord into rear electrical
outlet - refer to your "Outdoor Gas Barbecue/Grill
assembly Manual/Use & Care" for instructions
Check two pin jack plug point at transformer,
connector will "click" into position lock when
completely inserted
•insert into center of meat for accurate internal
temperature reading
• Check firm connection of two wire power
connector from transformer to the back switch
• check firm connection of 10 pin wire harness to
back of IQUE controller, connector will click" into
position when completely inserted
• Check firm connection of internal temperature
probe female connector to teat of IQUE controller.
NOTE: 2 locations per probe, 2 probeʼs total (one
for each zone 1&2)
• Either decrease temperature of one zone or
increase temperature of other zone
• Check zone divider has been installed properly -
refer to your "Outdoor Gas Barbecue/Grill assembly
Manual/Use & Care" for instructions
• Turn off IQUE controller. Lighting burner and turn
on IQUE controller
• Turn main burner on high or decrease setting of
zones.
