PROBLEM
no power to iQue controller

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
POSSIBLE CAUSES
•controller not turned on
•transformer not plugged in
•loose wiring harness - note: 2
connection points
•loose or disconnected
thermocouple (zone 1 or 2)
•loose or disconnected meat
probe (thermocouple probe)
•probe not fully inserted
•probe not properly plugged into
console jack
•probe fallen out of meat
•presets initiated or installed at
factory, or preferences setup by
user and changes are desired, or
controller has been reset to
factory defaults.
•temperature differential between
zones is to great
•transfer of heat between zones
1 & 2
•timer function competed
SOLUTIONS
•push power button to turn on
•plug 3 prong transformer cord into rear electrical
outlet - refer to your "Outdoor Gas Barbecue/Grill
assembly Manual/Use & Care" for instructions
1-check firm connection of wire harness to back of
iQue controller, connector will "click" into position
when completely inserted
2-check firm connection point at transformer,
connector will "click" into position when completely
inserted
•check firm connection of female connector to rear
of iQue controller. NOTE: 2 locations per
thermocouple, 2 thermocouples total (one for each
zones 1&2)
•check firm connection of meat probe to console
outlet
•insert into center of meat for accurate internal
temperature reading
•check for a firm connection of Meat Probe male
connector to female jack on console. Connector will
"click" into position when completely inserted
•Re-insert into meat ensuring probe reaches to
center of meat
•press and hold temperature button to prompt
preference setup screen. Then follow instructions
as found under "setting up user preferences" in this
manual.
•either decrease temperature of one zone or
increase temperature of other zone
•check zone divider has been installed properly -
refer to your "Outdoor Gas Barbecue/Grill assembly
Manual/Use & Care" for instructions
•push timer button to deactivate alarm
