Button Reassignment to Control Diff e rent Devices
You might have two devices that would be con-
t rolled by the same button (a VCR and a DVD,
for example, each controlled by the V C R b u t-
ton, or a cable box and DSS, each contro l l e d
by the c a b l e button). In that case, you will have
to reassign one of the other buttons to contro l
that device.
Example: If you have a VCR and DVD player,
you will need to reassign the c a b l e button to
c o n t rol the DVD player

The c a b l e button is now another V C R b u t t o n ,
which can be used to control a DVD player.
P rogram the remote as described in steps 1-4.
