•
Place the valve spring inside the valve body and secure it with the valve cover and two opposing bolts. Ensure
that the valve seat plug is not tilted.
•
Uniformly tighten the nuts of the two bolts to raise the valve cover and compress the spring.
•
With the valve cover in position against the valve body, insert two of the mounting screws into the available
cover holes.
•
Remove the two bolts and replace them with the other two mounting screws. Ensure that the valve body and
cover are sealed.
•
Open the upstream shutoff cock and check for leakage along the valve cover. (Refer to the Checkout
Procedure section).
•
Observe at least three complete operating cycles to ensure that all components are functioning correctly.
