information for the 831- and 2831-type telephone
sets.

2. IDENTIFICATION
Purpose
2.01
The 831- (Rotary dial) and 2831- (TOUCH-TONE®
dial, Fig. 1) type telephone sets are obtainable
as modular or complete desk-type, 20-button, key
telephone sets equipped to provide standard key
system features. Refer to Table A for available
colors.
Application

intercommunication line circuits in 1A1, 1A2,
or 6A KTS. These sets are not equipped for use
with 1A KTS.

cord conductors an auxiliary mounting cord (D10R)
