Symptoms
• Tracks/folders are not played back in the
order you have intended.
• "CANNOT PLAY" appears on the display.
• "NO USB" appears on the display.
• The unit cannot detect the USB device.
• "NOT SUPPORT" appears on the display
and track skips.
• Correct characters are not displayed (e.g.
album name).
• While playing a track, sound is sometimes
interrupted.
• The iPod does not turn on or does not
work.
• The sound is distorted.
• No sound can be heard in "IPOD
MODE."
• Playback stops.
• "CANNOT PLAY" appears on the display.
• "RESTRICTED" appears on the display.

Remedies/Causes
The playback order is determined by the write-in time
stamp. The first track/folder written into the USB device
will be the first track/folder for playback.
• Connect a USB device that contains tracks encoded in an
appropriate format.
• Connect the USB device again.
Check whether the track is a playable file format.
This unit can only display Roman alphabets (upper case),
Cyrillic alphabets (upper case), numbers, and a limited
number of symbols (see page 2).
The tracks have not been properly copied into the USB
device.
Copy tracks again into the USB device, and try again.
• Check the connecting cable and its connection.
• Update the firmware version of the iPod/iPhone.
• Charge the battery of the iPod/iPhone.
• Reset the iPod/iPhone.
• Check whether "IPOD SWITCH" setting is
appropriate (see page 20).
Deactivate the equalizer either on this unit or the iPod/
iPhone.
Check whether "IPOD SWITCH" setting is appropriate
(see page 20).
The headphones are disconnected during playback. Restart
the playback operation (see pages 13 and 14).
No tracks are stored. Import tracks to the iPod/iPhone.
Check whether the connected iPod/iPhone is compatible
with this unit (see page 24).
