Map display without route guidance
While driving without active route guidance, you can use the TravelPilot DX-N to dis-
play a map of the surrounding area. This map can display all of the information avail-
able for navigation, e.g. parking garages and public facilities. For more information,
refer to the section on "Route guidance", "Route guidance in map mode".

To use the map mode without route guidance, mark "Map" in the main menu.

A map of the surrounding area will appear.
Plus Point: If the main menu is on display, the system will automatically
switch to the map display after approximately 3 minutes.
Displaying the GPS status and your position
You can also display the number of GPS satellites the system is currently able to
receive and your geographical position. If the system is able to receive signals from at
least three satellites, the TravelPilot DX-N will be able to calculate your current vehi-
cle position.

Hold down
for longer than 2 seconds.
The "Info" menu will appear.

Mark
on the top line of the menu. Press
A menu will appear, indicating the number of satellites currently received and
your current vehicle position.
