    Three long beeps will sound Removing a card from the onboard user database To remove a card from the ATS1170’s database, the card format and type must match the card. Ensure Learn Mode is on – see menu 10 of ATS1170.

    ATS1170 loses communication with the control panel, or when in permanent offline mode. DIP switch A on ATS1170 will have no effect in the online mode, however leave it in the Off position. This switch is only ever used in the offline mode to program cards. See “Basic setup and programming for offline access control”...

    #-Exit ATS 1170 menu 11–Number of Cards in database Select menu 11–Number of Cards and press Enter to view the number of cards already held in ATS1170 database. The display will show information similar to: Number of Cards 15 #-Exit 15 being the number of cards already programmed into the database.
  • Page 9 Ten seconds after power-up, the Tx LED will flash once per second indicating ATS1170 is operating. The once per second flash rate is indicating that ATS1170 has gone into offline mode with no connection to the control panel databus.
  • Page 10 Removing a card from the onboard user database: To remove a card from the ATS1170 database, the card format and type must match the card and DIP switch A is set to On. To remove a card, badge it six times. One long beep is sounded when the card is removed from the onboard user database.
