If the service appointment is
missed or the service distance
is exceeded, SERVICE 1 is dis-
played permanently during opera-
tion.

Fuel reserve

Range
The range RANGE 1 indicates
how far you can ride 2 with the
remaining fuel in the tank. This
distance is calculated on the
basis of average consumption
and the quantity of fuel on board.
When the motorcycle is
propped on its side stand
the slight angle of inclination
means that the sensor cannot
register the fuel level correctly.
This is the reason why the
range is recalculated only when
the side stand is folded in.
The range reading appears
automatically on the multifunc-
tion display when fuel is down
to the reserve level.
After a refuelling stop, the
range is recalculated if the
quantity of fuel in the tank
is greater than the reserve
quantity.
The calculated range is only an
approximate figure.
