1) Insert the USB PDA Adapter installation CD into your
CD-ROM drive.
2) Plug the USB PDA Adapter into any available USB port
on your computer or USB hub.
3) The "Add New Hardware Wizard" will detect the
adapter as "Belkin Components". Select "Automatic
search for a better driver (Recommended)". Click
"Next".
4) The "Add New Hardware Wizard" will search your
drives and locate the driver on the USB PDA Adapter
installation CD.
5) The "Add New Hardware Wizard" will now identify the
PDA Adapter as "Belkin USB PDA Adapter Interface
Controller". Click "Finish".
6) The "Add New Hardware Wizard" will now detect
"Serial on USB", and the PDA number adapter will be
assigned the next available COM port. In the Windows
Device Manager, the PDA adapter will be listed under
"Ports" as "Serial on USB", and the assigned COM port
number will be displayed.
7) Launch the Palm Desktop application.
8) Select "Sync" from the menu bar on the top
of your screen.
