9) Launch the Palm Desktop application.
10) Choose "HotSync" from the menu bar on the top of
your screen.
11) Choose "Setup" from the pull-down menu.
12) Click on the "Serial Port Settings" tab.
13) Make sure the "Local Setup" button is selected.
14) Make sure that the "Speed" option is set to
"As fast as possible".
15) Make sure that the "Port" option is set to "Serial
on USB".
Your USB PDA Adapter is now fully functional and ready to
synchronize the data between your Palm device and your Mac.
Note: If the HotSync process stalls during the "Identifying User"
phase, re-install the Palm HotSync software.
