12) Enter the path to your CD-ROM drive (typically
D:\Win2000). Or if you prefer, you can select the
"Browse" option and manually select the Win2000
folder on the driver CD-ROM. Click "OK".
13) The "Found New Hardware Wizard" will now install the
driver "u2sport.inf". Click "Next".
14) The "Found New Hardware Wizard" now detects the
USB PDA Adapter as "Serial on USB". Click "Finish".
15) Installation is now complete. Select "Yes" to restart your
computer.
16) The USB PDA Adapter will be assigned the next
available COM port. In the Windows Device Manager
the PDA adapter will be listed under "Ports" as "Serial
on USB", and the assigned COM port number will be
displayed.
17) Plug your Palm Cradle or HotSync cable into the DB9
connector on the USB PDA Adapter.
18) Launch the Palm Desktop application.
19) Select "Sync" from the menu bar on the top of
your screen.
