Safety Information

Failure to follow all warnings on the restraint sytem and
instructions could result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
Read all instructions before use of the infant carrier.
• The restraint system must be in a rear-facing position when it
is used for an infant.
• Only use carry handle position 1 when using in a vehicle. See
page 35.
• Use only with children who weigh between 1.8 and 15.8 kg (4
and 35 pounds) and whose height is 81.3 cm (32 inches) or less.
• Do not use outer harness loop or outer buckle slot with a child
weighing less than 5 kg (11 lbs). See pages 32-33.
• Do not use the infant comfort pillow with children weighing
more than 5 kg (11 lbs). See page 36.
• Do not use the comfort pads with a child weighing more than
10 kg (22 lbs).
• Snugly adjust the belts provided with this child restraint
around your child.
• This child restraint must be secured to the vehicle with a lower
connector system, if the restraint system is installed in a seating
position that is equipped with a Lower Universal Anchorage
System (LUAS), or a vehicle seat belt if the restraint system is
installed in a seating position that is not equipped with a LUAS.
• This child restraint system must be used only in a forward-
facing seating position equipped with a vehicle seat belt or a
lower universal anchorage system.
• Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the written
instructions located in the base storage compartment. Keep
the instructions with the restraint for future use.
• Register your child restraint with the manufacturer.
• This child seat can only be used in the following classes
of vehicles: multi-purpose passenger vehicles, passenger
cars, or trucks.
