GENERATOR SYSTEM
MAIN WINDING INSPECTION
Remove the generator end cover (base manual
82Z4100: page 7-9).
Start the engine and measure the AC voltage between
the main winding 4P connector
connector disconnected.
Type
SK
If the specified voltage is not obtained, stop the engine
and measure the resistance between the main winding
4P connector
Type
SK
If the specified resistance is zero or infinity, replace the
stator.
EXCITER WINDING INSPECTION
Remove the generator end cover (base manual
82Z4100: page 7-9).
Disconnect the field winding connector

Start the engine and measure the AC voltage between
the exciter winding 4P connector
terminal and No.2 (Yellow) terminal with connector
disconnected.
Standard voltage:
If the specified voltage is not obtained, stop the engine
and measure the resistance between the exciter
winding 4P connector
terminal and No.2 (Yellow) terminal.
Type
SK
If the specified resistance is zero or infinity, replace the
stator.
