No, I am afraid that the KEY Ring Audio Player needs to be operated through the wired (or neck
strap) remote control, as no control buttons are built into the unit.

How do I know if the downloading of music files to my KEY Ring Audio Player is
completed?
While the downloading process is in progress you will see animation on the LCD display of the
KEY Ring Audio Player and as soon as the process is complete, the animation will stop.

How do I format my KEY Ring Audio Player?
For PC users
1.
Hook up the player to your PC
2.
Open Windows Explorer, select your Key Ring Audio player labeled as removable drive and
then right click to select format.
3.
Under file system select either FAT, FAT12, FAT 16 or FAT32
4.
Click START to format the player.
For Mac users
1.
Hook up the player to your MAC.
2.
In the Application\KEY ring 128MB, Application\KEY ring 256MB or
Application\KEY ring 512MB folder, click on the Firmware Manager application.
3.
The Firmware Manager window will pop up. Select the language from the drop-down box, tick
the "Format" box and then click START.
4. When the formatting is completed, disconnect your player from the computer

How do I install the desired language version firmware onto my Key Ring Audio Player
for the display of music information in English + Chinese/Japanese/Korean?
1.
Back up all your files in the player to your computer.
2.
Hook up your Key Ring Audio player.
3.
At Start->Programs->Key Audio 128MB, Key Audio 256MB or Key Audio 512MB,
select Recovery/Set Language to launch the Firmware Manager. Check the current
version of the firmware of your player against the one on the support site at
http://www.philips.com/support. If a later version is available, download it onto your computer.
4.
Uninstall the existing Firmware Manager application and then install the latest application,
which you have just downloaded from the support site onto your computer.
5.
At Start->Programs->Key Audio 128MB, Key Audio 256MB or Key Audio 512MB,
select Firmware manager. Select your desired language option from the list and click Start
to initiate the firmware installation process.
6.
Once the installation process is complete, you may copy the files back into the player and click
on the removal icon on the task tray to stop and eject the player.

The sound quality is bad or there is no sound.
The problem with poor sound quality or no sound may be associated with the following:-
The Pause mode of the unit may be activated. If so, de-activate Pause by pressing Play again.
The connections to the headphone may be loose or the headphone jack could be dirty. Check
and clean the connections.
The Volume is set to low. If so, adjust the volume level.
Keep the set away from active mobile phones.
