close both doors and close the luggage compartment lid; unlock
and lock the doors using the remote control; open the luggage
compartment lid using the remote control.
adjust the clock (date and time on instrument panel);
close both doors and fully raise the driver side and passenger side
windows to their upper limit; check that the windows move down to
the "target position" when the doors are opened.
Warning
Before starting the engine, wait at least 60 seconds after activating
the instrument panel to allow the electronic system that controls the
motor-driven valves and the AC ECU to run a self-acquisition process.
During this period, no devices must be activated.
The Motronic ECU self-acquisition cycle will only function correctly when
the intake air temperature is above 5 °C.
After removing the battery from the vehicle or disconnecting it from
the electrical system using the battery master switch, it is important to
check that the external temperature is within the indicated values when
reconnecting before performing the self-acquisition cycle.
Emergency starting
If the battery is flat, you can perform an emergency start by connecting
the special jump leads to the battery of another vehicle, a portable jump
starter or an external battery.
Important note
Emergency starting can only be performed with batteries with a
nominal voltage of 12 V.
