Anti-theft system

The Ferrari CODE system
The vehicle is equipped with an electronic immobiliser system (F
CODE) which is automatically activated when the engine is switched
off. The keys are equipped with an electronic device which transmits a
coded signal to the F

Each time the engine is switched off, the protection system activates the
immobiliser.
When the engine is started by pressing the ENGINE START/STOP
button on the steering wheel:
1.
If the key is recognised, the CODE indicator light
instrument panel extinguishes and the EOBD indicator light
only extinguishes once the engine has started after the ECU has
completed its diagnostic cycle; in these conditions, the protection
system has recognised the key code and deactivated

If the CODE indicator light
recognised. If this occurs, we recommend switching the instrument
panel off and switching it back on again by pressing the ENGINE
START/STOP button on the steering wheel; if the immobiliser
device remains active, try with the other key provided.
