Care and Maintenance

This Morgan bunk bed should be cleaned by dusting with a dry cloth.
Never drag furniture when moving it. Always lift it.
Do not drag any object across the bed as this can cause permanent damage.
Periodically check all fixings to ensure none have come loose and re-tighten when necessary.
Please take care when handling or moving the furniture as careless handling may cause damage or
injury.
Furniture can be dangerous if incorrectly installed. Any assembly should be carried out by a competent
adult.
No liability will be accepted for damage or injury caused by incorrectly installed or assembled furniture.
During assembly, children should be kept away from the product due to possible risk of injury.
It is recommended that care is taken when moving heavy objects to a new location to avoid personal
injury or damage to the furniture. Please be careful to retain all fittings when doing this.

Safety Instructions

General warnings:

All assembly fastenings should always be tightened properly and care should be taken that no
fittings are loose.
The maximum thickness of the mattresses should not be more than 17cm and the upper surface of
the mattress should not be more than the mattress maximum thickness marking.
WARNING: Do not use the bunk bed if any structural part is broken or missing.
WARNING: Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall, a roof pitch, the ceiling,
adjoining pieces of furniture (e.g. cupboards) and the like. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance
between the top safety barrier and the adjoining structure shall not exceed 75mm or shall be more
than 230mm.
WARNING: High beds and the upper bed of bunk beds are not suitable for children under six
years due to the risk of injury from falls.
WARNING: Bunk beds and high beds can present a serious risk of injury from strangulation if not
used correctly. Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed to be used
with the bed, for example, but not limited to, ropes, strings, cords, hooks, belts and bags.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Ventilation of the room is necessary in order to keep the humidity low and to prevent mould in and
around the bed.
This product complies with BS EN 747-1+2:2012+A1:2015.
This bed is for use with a standard single size mattress L190 x W90 x H17.
